Reviews Great show. More old stuff that normal which was good to hear. The crowd was pretty good, I saw a solid amount of good fans. Marc was really into the show and he interacted with the crowd a lot. He took someones camera phone and recorded a video on stage of the band and the crowd. Also, after This Town the crowd started chanting City on Down and the band changed from whatever they were going to play so that they played City on Down. It was very cool to see. Glad I made the trip up to see this one. -joeymill August 2, 2010
Came up from Rochester for the show... It was well worth it as always! Getting the small list of negatives out of the way first: The crowd wasn't the best crowd but the true fans that were there still made it a great time. The opener Citizen Cope seemed lifeless and did not have much of any stage presence at all. Now to the positives: I was pumped to hear a lot of old stuff that you don't usually here too much such as Mr. Moon or Here's to You. The transition from Mr. Moon to About Mr. Brown was killer as well as the revival of the old school About Mr. Brown breakdown/ free-style at the end. Jerry killed the sax during Moon and Brown as well. The old classics like Untitled, Poker and City on Down were also awesome to here. Delicate Few was a great way to round out the show. Overall it was a great night and the band looked like they were having a blast on stage and were genuinely enjoying themselves. Marc and the boys really know how to make a crowd happy through lots of crowd interaction and some pretty sick sets. I have never seen a bad O.A.R. show in the 4 I have seen. Does anyone know about any tapes or if there is going to be a LIVEOAR posted? -84secondsago August 2, 2010
My 5th show, and 1st outdoor. The venue was fantastic and a beautiful night. These guys get better and better everytime. They planned to play Over and Over but took it out and did I Feel Home, which is always a treat. The die hard fans were there but also great to see the new fans realize how fun these guys are Live. -tonylaz August 2, 2010
Insane Show. 11th one of mine and first actually in Buffalo. The crowd was awesome, im not sure what others are saying about them being just OK, Marc was really into it. You could tell he was feeling it and enjoyed the crowd. I was also surprised and impressed with the 19 song setlist, usually they cut off at 17 and sometimes 18. Overall a great time, its almost tuesday and I still have not got my full voice back from saturday night. Last thing, whoever the guy is that got that video of Marc taking his camera on stage, BETTER PUT IT ON YOUTUBE! -nickfinnz88 August 2, 2010
15th show, and actually flew back home from Virginia to see it. Well worth it, Marc and the guys love Buffalo! The interaction with the crowd when they play here is always amazing. You don't see it many other places like home in Buffalo vs. other towns. -rbutts757 August 2, 2010
Great show! Been to a few O.A.R. shows and this was the best by far! That video is up on youtube uploaded by user kaloblovesoar16. I uploaded 7 videos under this same name dblynch211. Sorry the quality is not the best. Can't wait to catch the next one! -DBLynch211 August 3, 2010
Just have to say, just got the copy of the show and I am blown away by the sound quality. Amazing show and it's great to relive it. Loved the amount of older songs on the setlist. Keep the recordings coming. Such a great way to give back to the fans. And as always, get back to Buffalo as soon as you can. O.A.R. always puts on a phenomenal show and killed it that night. Buffalo can't get enough of them. -sonny704 August 4, 2010
My 7th show, saw them the next night at SPAC making it 8. I WAS THE GUY WHO'S CAMERA WAS ON STAGE, and it was the best moment of my life. Richard tossed me a pic later in the show and Jerry also handed me a set list after it got done. I put the video on youtube, as stated above, and its pretty epic. The best show I have seen thus far, the new intro's are amazing! Seeing the guys one last time for the summer this Saturday at Bethel! -oarfan16 August 4, 2010
