Reviews OAR was great as usual. Living in the end is a nice opener, and we got a great version of crazy game to close the show. I was extremely disappointed with the crowd and the venue. The crowd was full of kids who would rather talk and text message than enjoy a show. Most of them seemingly waiting around for shattered. I was unimpressed with Virginia Coalition as well, and the sound system certainly didn't help. The sound was better for OAR but still wasn't great. -bad1651 November 18, 2008

This is my second OAR show and my last OAR show. My first was a sold out show at the Tweeter Center near Boston and had a great setlist and performance. This show was horrible, i can't enjoy this band anymore because of their new fans and their new music. I was shocked to see only about 200-300 people in the entire venue, which i must say was a mistake. UMaine has to have a better facility for a concert. I wasn't sure what to expect since its been 2 years since the last time i saw them but everyone was way young and wicked immature, not even drunk and crazy just fucking immature teenagers. very dissapointing. Stories of a Stranger and All Sides got this band huge but this show was evidence of their downfall. very very sad. -silvermaroon November 18, 2008
Let's be honest Maine is not up on music that is not on the radio. I lived there for 25 years so I can honestly say that. I told all my friends back at UMaine to go to the show and they all said everyone on campus was wondering who "OAR" was and "why are they coming to sing 1 song" I saw them at UMaine years ago and swore it was the worst venue and no one should ever preform there. To bad it was full of young people that ruins the show. -ryfcon November 18, 2008
I get so tired of people who complain about OAR's two most recent cd's. You all think that just because it has helped them gain a fan base that they are not good, and that the band "sold out." While some of the songs have changed, most of this is due to the progression and maturation of the band. It is a shame to see people who claim to be real fans, but in reality, they are the exact opposite. -delicatefew05 November 19, 2008
I love how they change the songs up. It makes it good because you never know what you're going to hear. I was just at the UMass show last night and the only complaint i have about new fans is that they stare at you when you're rocking out to an oldie. It sucks that they're just waiting for 2 or 3 songs but w/e i love hearing those songs too. -dylanfan November 19, 2008
