Reviews This show was an overall disappointment. The band totally didn't seem excited to be playing PNC, and the crowd was full of high school kids who don't like O.A.R. but just wanted to get drunk, but obviously couldn't because of the crazy security. I was happy to see a lot of the older stuff played, but no one else around me on the lawn knew it! Ozomatli was awesome on Whatever Happened with the band. I would have liked to have About Mr. Brown and Missing Pieces in the actual show instead of the encore, and Poker and Love and Memories in the encore instead. For my friends and me, it was a disappointing show, and I'm so glad I went to Jones Beach tonight -- it was a million times better. -mle990 August 2, 2008
i was 5th row dead center for this concert. it was unbelievable. jerry was on fire as was everyone else in the band. marc freestyled during untitled and it was amazing. overall an amazing show. -dinnerlastnight August 2, 2008
show was great, 6th row on the side..crowd is awful, nut thats what you get in new jersey it sucks...great mix of new and old but jones beach is and will always better be then pnc..every show is better and tonight at jb proved it again..
..love how see you cry was changed to irish rose, W/E Happened with ozo was ridiculous...they were a great band too..guys were alot of fun.dont like the last song being missing pieces but o well...good show, off to my home on long island, and jones beach -nhlpunk101 August 2, 2008
Definetly one of the best ive been too, i got to met the band before the show which was sick and me and my friend were dying to hear revisted and asked for it and they played it, ummm opening with 52-50 was sick, and the untitled freestyle was soooo good and the little tag to sove moved on very clever, and jerry and richard were on fire, the new irish rose with jerry coming out with guitar is beautiful, but i just wanna say thanks for the show and thanks to the band for the meet and greet rock on guys see ya in hartford saturday auagst 9th

Some show tonight. Show number 40 for me and this one is high on the list. Having that "different" encore is so key. "Whatever Happened" first time since album with Ozomatli was more than good, it was the best song of the night. How about "Here's To You", "The Wanderer" and "Revisted" in a row. "Untitled" was great. Love the new songs, love the old songs. 19 songs OVER 2 hours is how you do it. -tindawg31 August 2, 2008
Great set list.... this was my 7th show since i discovered OAR 2 years ago. Great to hear Whatever Happened, it was sick. Loved the encore, very different then the other shows i have been too. I would've rather heard City on Down then L & M, but i'll live. Now for the crowd... Terrible. I was 7th row in section 102. There was 2 older people next me that were sleeping it seems. My section was mostly high school kids, knew the words to nothing except L & M. They didn't even know poker, come on! Security was high on power trips as well. Just trying to take pictures and they were in your face. Unfortunately i was not able to get to JB this year, but from the looks of it, it was a much better show. -billyk89 August 3, 2008
5th row from Richard On, GREAT SHOW. meet and greet was Awesome! asked them to play Untitled and About Mr. Brown and they gladly complyed. overall kick ass setlist, but the crowd was alittle dull due to the PNC crackdown, -O.A.R.fan4Life August 3, 2008
Seeing O.A.R. back to back nights in Atlantic City and PNC made for the best 2 nights ever! I wish I would have been able to go to Jones Beach to make it 3 in a row. Very nice set... 52-50 opening, Untitled, The Wanderer, Revisited, all highlights. Like I said last time, the new songs keep getting better and they are very nice live. I really liked Irish Rose with Marc and Jerry, and Whatever Happened with Ozomatli was really sick (was Benj up there for that, I don't remember seeing him?), it reminded me of last year when they jammed with Steven Kellogg and Augastana to Midnight Rider. The guys all seemed to be into it and looked like they had fun. Jerry was insane as always, as was Richard. Marc sounded great, and Benj/Chris did their shit very well also. Keep Paris with you as long as possible... he is such a great addition to the live shows.
Crowd wasn't too bad in my area (sec. 101 row C). I saw a few people that remembered me from last year (2 guys in the front row of 101, kid with the red shirt and dreads, and all the guys I met in AC the night before, and my friend Kevin Johnson). My 2 friends that went with me had a great time, they loved being 3rd row. This older couple that was next to me were singing and dancing to every song, so that was real cool and fun to see.
I got to go to the pre-show meet and greet (I was the last in line actually), and it was such a great experience! What a really nice group of guys! I wish there was time to have a beer and bs a little more with them. They seem so down to earth and seem to really love what they do and care a lot about their fans. I took a few pictures with them and they all signed their head shots that came with the limited edition All Sides. Marc had to go back with the tour manager before he got a chance to sign it, but Benj ran back to track him down for me... You’re the man Benj!!! Chris and Jerry even went over to the railing where people without meet and greet passes were hanging out, and took some pictures and signed some stuff for a good 5-10 minutes. I hope they have something similar I can go to in the near future. Keep up the excellent work guys and thank you for everything you do for all your fans!

Got to the show late due to NJ Transit sucking so I didn't get to the meet & greet. I was very disappointed and hoped they would put on a great show to make up for it. I was 4th row center which kicked ass! Hearing a lot of old stuff restored my faith in the band. The only thing that sucked were the 14 yr kids who used Daddy's money to get wasted and go to a concert. One girl was staring at my friend and I the whole night because we singing every line to every song. That's how it's supposed to be at a concert!! -meggie87 August 3, 2008
This show was a really great time. I dont know if i coulda asked for much more besides that three song stretch of shattered hey girl and love and memories.
The encore was great, So moved on was a huge awesome surprise. Im really glad i could be there for the debut of Whatever Happened (Post All Sides). Here's to you has always been a favorite, and they did a great job with it. I would have to assess this as the best show ive seen. I am really impressed with how much fun i had despite no tailgating, and knowing the usual oar tailgate scene it didnt crush me to have to drink with friends a couple of miles from the venue.
Good job guys cant wait for my next show. -kevinjohnson128 August 3, 2008
Overall I was disappointed with the concert. iv been to about 10 shows and this one didnt compare to the others. it didnt seem like marc and the rest of the band were into it. bummed i couldn't make jones beach the next night. -pncla August 3, 2008
Compared to other shows, this show was only ok. The band came out with energy and played some great versions. I was really happy with how many older songs were played. Whatever Happened with Ozomatli was excellent.
Unfortunately the crowd was mostly high schoolers who didn't know the old songs. It was obvious since the crowd was lame all night but exploded with excitement when "Love and Memories" was played. The crowd slowly killed the band's energy and you could sense the Band's dissapointment when half the place emptied out during "missing pieces".
PNC used to be a great place to see a show but the flood of high schoolers has ruined it. All of the under-aged drinking last summer meant no tail gating at all this summer.
There was nobody in the parking lot as your arrived for the show. The crowd was lame. There was no energy. It really wasn't much fun at all.
The band did great. I feel like we owe them an apology. -void580 August 4, 2008
this show was terrible.... well- O.A.R. was good, but the crowd was horrendous. I was on the lawn, and when they oppened with 52-50, people were looking around like... what is this song? i was like are you joking????? ahh anyway, being from Maryland, i will never go to an out of state O.A.R. concert again. completely dissapointing- zero energy. -laxnfishie August 4, 2008
One of the best shows I've been to. Sat in section 101, row V and listened to one of the best setlists I've been to. Great show, thanks for the memories O.A.R. See you again soon. -sometimesisunderated August 5, 2008
