* with the NYC Girl's Choir. Before song three, the NYC Girl's Choir also performed "Let It Be" by The Beatles. Recordings No recordings available. Check back later. Reviews Just a great night. The vibe was fantastic, it was also the first show in a few years where there was no pushing, no fighting. In addition people were still drinking and singing the songs, just in a very normal manner. There was only one jerk-off guy in the whole place. The sound was great, the set-list was fun. They jammed out and played through the songs. "Conquering Fools" was great and had a nice freestyle about the devil on his one shoulder. Jerry rocking "City On Down" and going in to the crowd and giving me a big pound walking back up was great. Went with my old man and brother and we had a great time. -tindawg31 November 9, 2009 An amazing show. Marc was interacting with the crowd all night and the set was perfect. Good mix of old and new. The highlight had to be the encore with Jerry walking through the crowd and playing a solo. Also, me and my girfriend just got out of dinner when OAR was doing interviews with some press and Marc came over to us after they were done just to say hi and shake our hands. I was so star stuck but its cool he did that, I cant wait to see them again. -jerry4president November 9, 2009 Awesome night! Went to the meet & greet beforehand and met the entire band! They were as gracious as always and really set the stage for an amazing night. Conquering Fools, Heard the World, War Song, Poker and City on Down were great, just wished the show went a little longer. Overall an amazing experience that hopefully raised a lot of money for a great cause! -TheWanderer3 November 9, 2009 Concert was great. I was at the meet and greet and the guys were awesome. So down to earth. Crowd was good but a guy threw a hat at Jerry on a sax solo that pissed me off. Other then that, open bar was great, setlist was great, although I wish they played for longer. Original setlist had only 9 songs with Untitled, but they changed it and threw in War Song and Risen, and then City On Down to close. Great show, great night. -mlbball99 November 10, 2009 It was not an African Choir. It was a choir from a catholic elementary school in NYC, Marc said the name of the school and where they were from when he introduced them. -Beans November 11, 2009 |
