Reviews Personally this being my first O.A.R. show I had no idea what to expect. I was incredibly surprised at how many new songs they played. Personally, even though I am a new fan, I think that they should have played a little more old stuff (like from Any Time Now). This Town was a great opener, and Program director rocked. The Encore in my opinion was great. Though it was nearly identical to yesterdays in the Comcast Center (I didn't go I just looked at the set), it still rocked. From I feel home, all the way to With A Little Help From My Friends, which by the way, every one was singing, it was awesome. Nice Show guys. I only looked around once, but from what I could see the lawn was full. Nice Job. I got to meet Benj And Jerry too, I was so incredibly siked. -OARfan232 August 10, 2008
not as great as last year but still a good solid choice of old and new with a good amount of energy from both the band and crowd, the Dodge was rockin -O.A.R.fan4Life August 11, 2008
My second O.A.R show (Saw them last year in MA) and despite the double-header they performed well. Didn't think the crowd on the lawn was as into it, and I wish they left out the tracks from All Sides but overall decent show. Thanks to the tapers -attackedbyplastic August 11, 2008
i thought it was better than last year. last years opening songs were much better but then they just ruined it. this year they got the newer pop stuff out of the way and played a really great show. highlights were Here's To You, COD>Delicate Few, Dareh(34th & 8th intro), Mr. Moon, Whatever Happened(Ozo had such a sick jam), and With a Little Help From My Friends(Kellogg ripped). the highlights alone reaffirm my belief in OAR. much better than last year. -steviewonder August 11, 2008
Great show. I was disappointed with last years performance and didn't know what to expect out of this show but they really brought it. It seemed like they mixed in the necessary songs (Poker, Shattered, L&M) really well with the fan favorites. The set really seemed to have a good flow. This Town was a fun opener and the new stuff sounded great. Living in the End and What is Mine particularly were very strong. I was so pumped to hear COD->Delicate Few and was most excited for Here's To You which was awesome. The encore was fantastic. Whatever Happened is a beast live, Ozomatli jammed out hard on it. The Beatles cover with SK was unexpected and a phenomenal way to end the show. Lastly, I have to comment on how much better the crowd was this year. Yes it was young as always, but people actually showed up and were singing along all night. Many people knew the new stuff and allowed the band to feed off the crowd energy to put on a great show. Marc even mentioned how they didn't expect a crowd as into and rowdy as they did. Overall a great OAR experience, I will see them again. -mja271 August 11, 2008
This Town was a great opener, got everyone involved right away, especially those new fans who have only listened to the All Slides album. The whole rest of the set was great as well but the highlight was really the encore. One of the best encores I have ever seen from any band. With A Little Help From My Friends was a great way to end the concert personally for me. All of my friends and I got together and swayed to every word in the song. -brOAR August 11, 2009
