Entire show with MikelParis on keys, percussion, and vocals. Recordings No recordings available. Check back later. Reviews Great Show! The band had a TON of energy. Mark continued to say they were having a great time and wanted to leave it all out there since they are now off for 4 days. Loved the D'yer Mak'er portion of Conquering Fools and the band played a SICK version of GET AWAY. Mark was fantastic on I Feel Home letting the crowd sing the chorus at times but Jerry played just out of his mind the ENTIRE SHOW!! -ktelaak April 15, 2008 this was a GREAT show. probably the best O.A.R. concert i have ever been to! the venue was a fairly small gym but the atmosphere was great! everyone was into it and the band kept the energy way up. i'd have to say one of my highlights of the concert was mikel paris' piano solo during "About An Hour Ago". the crowd was good though there was wayyy too much crowd surfing. i also got hit with a shoe but hey its all part of the experience!! :) i was going nuts when they came back and played "Whose Chariot" (one of my favorite songs) in the encore and then followed by poker and missing pieces with a sick sax solo by jerry really topped off an already awesome concert! -aknba23 April 15, 2008 Fabulous set list! Hard to pick a favorite when they all were so good, but About an Hour Ago, was sweet. In fact the last 8 numbers were incredible. They played for a long time and the energy was high. Are you kidding me with that saxaphone! That was sick! -tonylaz April 15, 2008 Great show, lots of energy. General admission blows, too many highschoolers/ crowd surfers...once is fine, but the entire night kind of got annoying. Got to meet Marc after the show and I asked him when the new album would be out and he said by the summer, probably July. Marc didn't seem to mind to sign a few autographs and chat with fans out back after the show, which shows how down to earth these guys really are. Anyone have a recording? Would be awesome to have...thanks! Also- On the iLike page for O.A.R. on facebook, they have uploaded some videos from the show. Pretty cool. -mike_jervis April 15, 2008 awesome setlist. a lot of people in the crowd didn't know the words but everyone got into the music. illscarlett was simply awesome, never heard of them but they were really good for an opening band. -pickoff46 April 15, 2008 The best show I have seen, outside cbus and MSG, just great energy from the band. The guys were laughing and joking with each other all night and the crowd was amazing too. Well the surfing and the young girls shoving thier way up to scream for 3 seconds then running back to the back to surf was annoying, but whatever. -AtownRounder87 April 15, 2008 Amazing setlist. The band put on a really great show. Marc seemed really into it. The crowd surfers were really annoying. The gym did not have great acoustics for a concert but overall it was a great show. -soulaflame8 April 15, 2008 great great show. I thought the setlist was fantastic. I agree with everything everyone else said. Can't wait for Columbus and Cleveland. I got hit in the face with a shoe during Get Away but it was awesome. -mkrcc12 April 15, 2008 great show it was my 4th show wonderful setlist. met the band after great dudes, keep rocking guys, doing a wonderful job and everyone agrees. -oar0021 April 16, 2008 sick show. my first oar concert and i was blown away. i was in the first row and the crowd had so much energy. crowd surfing was a little annoying and some kid next to me got knocked out from a crowd surfer -dmboar34 July 19, 2008 illscarlett was really really good, and a great way to open up the show. crowd wasn't terrible, wasn't great either. very small crowd, i was a little disappointed in the number of people i guess. i had a blast though. oar never disappoints! -anytimenow5250 November 22, 2008 |
