Reviews Great show as usual (when is seeing Marc and crew not an amazing experience?). Being the first show on the tour, I expected a blow-out set-list with songs like Sunday Bloody Sunday, Black Rock, and Wonderful Day, but not to be. Instead, the biggest uproar from the crowd wasn't until Love and Memories late in the set-list...Just part of giving OAR to the rest of the world with strong pop singles and big record companies, which is ok...It means we'll all being seeing lots more tours and bigger and better shows and CD's. But it also means the older fans not getting all of the beautiful setlists as in the past. I do notice in later shows that some of the songs mentioned above were included, so I know the die-hard fans are still considered and loved, but Phoenix was not allowed that luxury. I already have my tickets for Dave Matthews in August when OAR opens here at Cricket Pavilion, so I will be holding my breath for my five-star setlist. Again, though, regardless of the lacking Phoenix setlist, OAR is still the best band out there and, all-in-all, it's just great to see them still playing and loving it! -OldCleveFan10 June 18, 2006
I agree, I have been to three Celebrity shows--this was my least favorite. Too many "bubble gum" fans. There was only a handful singing classics such as Whose Chariot, Dareh, Untitled, and Risen. 52-50 was amazing. This song kicks ass live. -suhlm October 26, 2006
