Reviews During the show Marc said something to the effect of "You those nights when everything turns around and starts going right? This is one of those nights." He was definitely right. He had some problem with his guitar early on in the show, but it never seemed to affect the band. The crowd was great, they had a good set list, the band's energy was amazing, and you could tell they were happy to be there. Marc had a lot of interaction with the crowd. He gave away his dysfunctional guitar, he went out in the crowd during poker, and when they came out for the encore marc saw all the cell phones out and said we'd make a great Cingular commercial and if he were a cell phone company he'd give us all free service, but the service wouldn't go very far. Overall great night and a show so amazing not even guitar troubles could ruin it. -jwustrow February 19, 2006 crowd was better tonight..marc kept havin guitar troubles so that left room for jerry to tear shit up and 52-50 was unreal -TuesdaysComin February 20, 2006 best crowd yet - marc loved it - being "one of those nights when everything turns around and starts going right" after all the bad crowds in the last tour.. enjoyed the show alot - playing alot of the same stuff tho - wished they would have kept moon and patiently on the list instead of brown and chariot but what an awesome weekend - wabash and IU -oldmatime February 20, 2006 What a great weekend. Started off driving an hour to see them in Louisville Thursday night and I thought it couldnt get much better than that. Next we drove 3 hours to see a kick ass show at IU and ran into some girls from a previous show. The show was amazing. It started off slow and turned into a crazy night once they played city on down. Marc had some guitar problems but it turned out to be great because he gave away his upscale Taylor guitar which probably cost over 2,500. Crazy! Wish it would have been me! Was my 6th show and cant wait for my 7th. OAR is a bad ass band!!!! Shocks19 your a very very lucky man! dont ever give that guitar away! i would die to have it! -aus0503 February 20, 2006 It is true, Marc gave his Taylor 514ce away in the middle of the show, I would know because I was the lucky guy who got it. I have never heard of in any show at any time does a musician give his instrument away during the show from right off of his back. This truely proves how much OAR cares about their fans. Later, the roadies took me backstage to give me the case, I never met the band but that's okay, it was still a dream come true. -shocks19 February 20, 2006 Hey shocks19, thats awesome man! I was just to your right, in the center row 1. The look on your face was priceless. It looked like they took you backstage for the rest of the show, what all happened? Did you get to meet them afterwards or anything? Fill us in! PS This was my first OAR concert but it will definately not be my last!! They rocked the house! -brain615 February 20, 2006 this show was unreal...one of the greatest shows ive ever seen...someone PLEASE let me know when its available for download!!! -runandhide21 February 21, 2006 This show was amazing. It was my first OAR show, although I've been a fan for about 3 years now. Drove in from St. Louis and it was worth every mile. It was definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to. -Jake February 22, 2006 Not trying to be pushy, but does anyone have any idea how soon or if this show will be up? -ccsfinest87 March 1, 2006 | ||||||||||
