A lot more dancing than usual. Poker was UNREAL, Black Rock blows me away everytime I hear it... O.A.R. had a lot of energy... every note was just right on. Mr. Moon sounds so good with the piano!! -WittichSTL02 November 11, 2005 probably one of the best shows i have ever seen the energy in the crowd and on stage was amazing!!!!!!! i was second row right in front of Marc, it was a beautiful show, BENJ said that it was the prettiest place they have ever played at, and man sis they rock it out man, probably one of the best if not the best show all year!!!!!!!! After the show i got the set list, thats how awesome the concert was i usually don't stick around but i had to have that set list man, the amazing part was Black Rock with the mixture of three different tags especially "what i am" awesome freakin show man 10th and best show i have ever seen. andy -oarfandy November 11, 2005 OK...Once again Michael Tolcher was amazing!! I picked up a CD after the show. We saw Michael Paris during Tolcher's set and thanked him for the wonderful K.C. show. He is just as chill as the rest of them!! The crowd was INSAINE!!! So pumped and into every song. I got scared at the end during poker b/c the balcony looked like a trampoline!!! Finally heard Dareh!!! Now I can die a happy woman!! This is by far the BEST setlist I have heard in my 5 shows!! Benj took pictures at the end. We must have impressed them just as they had impressed us!! -stlang3l November 11, 2005 I know I said this last time, but this was BY FAR the best show I've been to yet. It was my third one...maybe three time's a charm. The energy was just unreal. I finally heard Mr. Moon, Black Rock, and About Mr. Brown. I knew every single word to every song. I loved how Black Rock was so improv with a mixture of three different songs. The balcony above me was visibily bouncing up and down. You could tell that the guys were definitely having a lot of fun...Marc even said so himself. Last show I went to (10/14) seemed a little rushed, but this was a solid two hours, if not a little more, with long versions of everything. Oh, and before O.A.R. came on, someone in front of me was setting up a recording thing, but then took it down, and I don't know if he moved seats or just took it down. Was this one taped? I'd give my first born and my soul for this show. I really wish I could relive last night again and again. Amazing work, guys. It really brought tears to my eyes. -DelicateFew November 11, 2005 Absolutely awesome show...I loved the tamborine ninja that made an appearance during Love and Memories...and i'm definitely a fan of Michael Paris on the keys, SOUNDIN GOOD! I was fortunate enough to meet Ed, the guy who was recording it, but unfortunately i saw that he took it down. I did however at the end of the show make my way to the back and check the soundboard. They had a recording mic and a burned cd i saw that said "11-10 Fox Disc 1" so im just about sure the show was taped, i cant wait for it! band's rockin, i cant wait to see them again....OAR---Amen! -jmanion November 11, 2005 Great show. Black Rock was really sweet. One Shot was good to hear live, as well as Love and Memories. Marc had the whole crowd singing Delicate Few a capella, real tight. All in all, a good crowd and a good performance. -DaSlickMan November 11, 2005 Amazing show, O.A.R. rocked. My problem was with the floor crowd, they were horrible, half the crowd was sitting for half the songs it sucked. The balcony sections should have been on the floor, because they were rocking. Security were pricks, I brought a poster and they took it away from me as soon as I raised it. Mr. Moon and Black Rock were the highlights of the show, they have definately molded 52-50 into one of their greatest tunes. O.A.R had a shitload of energy, I wish the fans could have matched it. -bfriel99 November 11, 2005 Dude could you feel the balcony moving? That was the crazyist concert ever. I was on the balcony jumping and screaming "LETS TEAR THE HOUSE DOWN!" Man it felt like it was, I can only imagin what it looked like from the floor but everyone on the top balcony was rockin! The crowd was amazing. Delicate Few was great and Dakota was beautiful. But Poker took the house, it felt like the balcony was gonna collapse, it ruled!! -Slayerfan33 November 11, 2005 9th show and my favorite..the fox is an amazing place to see a show and I hope they play there for years to come, Dakota was cool as shit and the Black Rock was one of the best I've heard. -BradDarby November 13, 2005 best OAR concert i have ever been to...delicate few was awesome, but i cant really say any song was bad. even the new stuff sounded good! black rock, mr. brown, and dareh were also really good -wajkoorc96 November 13, 2005 hey... O.A.R. Was unbelievable i'm gonna be pissed if they dont go to the Fox again. The energy was insane. I was on the balcony and it movin crazily. 52-50, mr.moon, delicate few, about mr. brown, any way,and pretty much everythig else was crazy. I can't wait till next year. -oldaustralianrobots November 13, 2005 Amazing. Everything was perfect O.A.R. the FOX and the crowd. Next year should definetly make a live at the Fox disc would be awesome. Still havent heard "here's to you" though. -jctorres November 14, 2005 Wow, great show fellas. I am seriously hoping that 1) someone taped this show and 2) they come back and play the Fox. The Pageant was awesome, but this was even better. I was in the 3rd row, and when I looked back at the balcony, I seriously thought it was going to fall. Richard and Marc kept staring at it. Must have looked crazy from the stage. I see 52-50 is out for download. Any other songs from this show? -GoodTimes November 15, 2005 NICE !!! This was my 5th show, my wife's 4th. We always joke about being the oldest fans at every show... this band definately gets you off your ass. Sat in the middle of the balcony, surrounded by energized singing jumping hordes. Awesome. Digging the keyboard addition, and and the New Bohemian's break was sweet. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me somebody taped this. -rlsiv November 16, 2005 One of the most beautiful venues I have ever been in. It was truly an awe inspiring night. The setlist was great and the sound was awesome. The balcony bouncing like it did was nuts. I was glad that my seats were not underneath of it! Only bad part of the night came when security told me that I could only run my recording rig at eye level. It would have been a sweet tape from the seats I was in. Oh well, there are a couple of SBD recordings that should surface in the near future. -edpaffjr November 16, 2005 GOOD NEWS!!......http://p083.ezboard.com/foarfrm3.showMessage?topicID=6006.topic -brian11113 November 19, 2005 First OAR concert and it was what I expected it to be and more! 52-50 was an awesome start and it just got better from there. Crazy game of poker was sweet! Awesome night I will remember it forever! -crzygame November 20, 2005 2nd show i've been to, 1st one was unbelieveable, didn't think they would be able to top the 4/9/04 show....but i was wrong, this was the best concert of my life, waiting patiently for the download like many others, and btw O.A.R., PLEASE COME BACK SOON (finally here to download, i fuckin love you Ed) -Nico5 November 28, 2005 Show was great I was up in the balcony, and it felt like the balcony was going to collapse. The venue was beautiful, and man did I drink a lot of beer. -damgoat08 December 25, 2005 I went to this show last year and actually have some video from the show (approx. 50 minutes). Unfortunately I sat right next to a speaker and the audio did not turn out well. I'm working to overlay the audio from Ed's recording with my video files - will share when it's done. GREAT SHOW by the way. I'll be attending the next one in July. See you guys then! -jbpwings May 31, 2006 when the Guys come to the big MO i can't understand why the would ever pass up this venue, its such an old place that looks great. -The~CB~OAR~fan April 18, 2007 | ||||||||||
